One example for this philosophy is our high-performance IMPRESSA croissant line.
With the CCT (Croissant Cutting and Turning) system introduced during last iba, we set new standards with regard to performance combined with highest accuracy in shape, position and weight. However the production of croissants requires more working steps besides punching and turning and these have to keep pace with the output from the CCT.
For us performance is not only a question of the number of cycles but also a question of quality and precision. For perfect quality of the final product it is extremely important that the tip end of the coiled product is exactly in the position you desire for proofing and baking. Therefore we optimized our vacuum coiler CSV with its well-proven alignment system in a way that it guarantees an exact position of the tip end of the croissant even for high cycle rates. During the preceding process steps the long moulding unit has been improved so that we are now able to meet our customers‘ request for a higher number of coilings even at 150 cycles per minute.
For sophisticated shapes we offer a very special and unique solution on the market: our bending robot CBS. It can bend croissants exactly according to specification up to a closed bent shape. This unit has been expanded by one step to a 3-step execution so that this component can bend the incoming croissant at top speed safely and precisely.
All components of the IMPRESSA croissant combine peak performance with utmost precision and process safety.
