In September 34 MULTIVAC colleagues from Wolfertschwenden visited the World of Bakery (WoB) in Kitzingen as part of a staff trip.
After a brief welcome by the WoB management, Stefan Praller and Michael Gier, the guests were able to get straight to work after the long bus journey. Dough technologists Thomas Kronika and Daniel Tulbendian presented the MULTITWIST in action and were on hand with help and advice as the colleagues tried their hand at manual pretzel twisting and pretzel plaiting.
Following the company presentation in the plenary hall, there was another demo at IMPRESSA pizza, where participants were given an impression of how pizza can be produced on an industrial scale. They were also able to taste the quality of the products for themselves at the sumptuous pizza buffet afterwards.
At the end of the staff trip, Stefan Praller gave a guided tour of the WoB and explained the machines on display.
The staff trip was an excellent opportunity to get to know each other personally and to exchange ideas between the MULTIVAC headquarters and the FRITSCH subsidiary.
