FRITSCH has been one of the leading manufacturers of bakery machines for almost 100 years. The company is located in Markt Einersheim, Franconia.

FRITSCH - for decades, this name has been synonymous in the world of baking engineering and technology with high-quality, efficient lines and pioneering innovation within the sector of dough sheeting and processing. FRITSCH's machines are used worldwide to produce premium bakery products.

The headquarters of the company founded in 1926 are located in the Lower Franconian town of Markt Einersheim. Industry-defining developments such as the first dough sheeter, automatic twisting or the engineering of compact, hygienic complete lines are proof of this: It is the innovative strength and passion for baked goods that drives FRITSCH to find perfect solutions. Around 450 employees are committed to this every day.

Since 2019, FRITSCH has been part of the MULTIVAC Group, the world's leading manufacturer of integrated packaging solutions. FRITSCH is therefore part of the global network with over 80 locations and supports customers worldwide around the clock.

1926 Foundation

Foundation of the company in Wiese in today's Czech Republic.

1948 Relocation

Relocation to Markt Einersheim after World War II.

1956 The first ROLLFIX

The dough sheeter ROLLFIX is launched onto the market. The first technological milestone for FRITSCH.

1979 The first laminating line

The FRITSCH satellite head for dough laminating systems is introduced. The first laminating line is delivered in Germany.

1982 FRITSCH enteres the industrial croissant segment

With the CROISSANTOMAT 2000 FRITSCH enteres the industrial croissant segment.

1987 First concept for industrial production lines

FRITSCH develops a complete, fully modular concept for industrial production lines - the today's IMPRESSA lines.

1992 Establishment of the FRITSCH Technology Center

1996 FRITSCH Laminator 3000

FRITSCH presents the LAMINATOR 3000, the laminating line for industrial dough handling.

2000 The fully automatic twisting machine for pretzels

The fully automatic twisting machine for pretzels, the MULTITWIST, is presented on a trade fair for the first time. To this day, the MULTITWIST with its numerous tools is an unique selling point of the company.

2003 Launch MULTILINE and MULTICUT

Solutions with high flexibility, gentle dough processing and high capacity are demanded. FRITSCH has specialized in the lamination of dough for years and launches the new machines MULTILINE and MULTICUT.

2008 Launch LAMINATOR 300 and the Universal Filling Unit

The LAMINATOR 300 and the Universal Filling Unit are launched onto the market.

2010 The vacuum coiling unit CSV is introduced

A suction device underneath the table holds the dough pieces in place so that the croissants can be coiled precisely.

2012 Fully automatic bending robot for croissants

FRITSCH presents a fully automatic bending robot for croissants.

2015 New high performance line for croissants

FRTISCH presents its new high performance line for croissants - the CCT.

2016 90th anniversary

FRITSCH celebrates its 90th anniversary. The FRITSCH Technology Center is expanded to 4,600 sqm.

2016 The MULTITWIST reaches a new performance level

Three lines with a capacity of 20,000 pretzels per hour each are sold.

2018 Soft Dough Sheeter

The Soft Dough Sheeter enables the processing of doughs up to a dough yield of 190, giving our IMPRESSA bread an even greater variety of products.

2019 20th anniversary of our MULTITIWST

We are celebrating the 20th anniversary of our iconic all-round talent: the FRITSCH MULTITIWST. It is an expression of our innovative strength and still the unchallenged market leader.

2019 MULTIVAC takes over the FRITSCH group.

2019 Market launch of the new Product Decoration Unit PDU

With this system, decoration patterns can be printed or cut into the surface of products.

2020 The new World of Bakery

Renovation & renaming of the “FRITSCH Technology Center “ to “World of Bakery.” Customers can test the and gain a comprehensive insight into the entire FRITSCH portfolio.
