Sale of raffle tickets raised 1,500 euro
A self-determined life, social integration and equal participation in society. This is what the Lebenshilfe organisation for people with intellectual disabilities in Kitzingen is committed to. The foundation supports all measures and facilities that provide effective help for people with disabilities, their parents or relatives and for all age groups. These include, for example, early intervention centres, pre-school facilities, schools and day care centres, workshops and residential homes.
At the beginning of the month, HR Manager Tina Weber, Madeleine van der Wal (Marketing), Martina Geerdes (PR) and FRITSCH Managing Director Nico Haßmann visited the centre in Kitzingen to hand over a donation of 1,500 euro. The money was raised by the sale of raffle tickets at the Christmas party and was topped up by management.
They were welcomed on site by Managing Director Manfred Markert, Headmaster Cornelius Breyer and the three members of the Foundation's Board of Directors Johann Bitter, Günter Voit and Karl-Heinz Rebitzer and given a tour of the centre. Over 120 children and young people from the age of three are currently cared for and supported in Kitzingen.
The donation is urgently needed for therapy equipment such as swings, weighted vests for stress reduction, buggies, and talkers, tablets with symbols to enable non-verbal individuals to participate in communication.
In addition, trees are to be planted in the inner courtyard in the spring to provide natural shade.
